Second - let's give it up for Amitabh Bachchan who's taking a stand and refusing an honorary doctorate from the Queensland University of Technology because of the racists attacks on Indian students from the past year (as many as 70):
"I have been witnessing, with great dismay and shock the recent violent attacks on Indian students in Australia," his blog post said.
"Under the present circumstances, where citizens of my own country are subjected to such acts of inhuman horror, my conscience does not permit me to accept this decoration from a country that perpetrates such indignity to my fellow countrymen."
Looking cool as MF and using his stature to shed light on racism?
Give that man a double.
Wonderful! Shows that the man has principle and will not accept a degree as school is giving just to masked reality. Hope that this being awareness to the issue of Indian students being assulted.
