Woman Attacks Police and Camera Crew
In Hainan China, there was a camera crew filming with police doing a feature on checkstops. According to an account by journalist Xiao Jiang for Hainan TV news station: On the night of the 20th September I picked up a video camera and went out with a female colleague. We went to Binhai Road near the Haikou Wenhua Hotel to interview police investigating drink drivers at the scene. At around 11:30 at night the police stopped a car suspected of being driven by a drunk driver and carried out a spot check. Xiao Jiang and the female colleague then interviewed the suspected drunk driver.
Suddenly, a woman from the crowd of people watching rushed forward, charged towards Xiao Jiang saying: Your video camera filmed me, why do you want to film me?
Hilarity ensues!

Recycled Glass
Against my better judgment, I occasionally see what's cooking over at Sankaku Complex (I just read it for the articles - I swear). Lo and behold, I found something for fans of healthy lungs and fenestraphiles alike. Did I mention this isn't even vaguely safe for work? I should probably mention that.Anyways, unless I'm missing some greater meaning or linguistic/visual pun that only makes sense in Japanese, sometimes tits on glass aren't a metaphor for life - they're about people fapping like caged monkeys to tits against glass. I'm glad the geniuses at SC were able to help me grasp this very important lesson.

Choco party? Good! Good!
In Japan, advertisers simply cut to the chase. I don't particularly like chocolate, but I think they've managed to sell me on this one.

Worst Music Video You'll See Today

Source: AllKPop
Former race girl Jung Eun Joo now singer released a digital single called Nudity recently and her cheap looking, somewhat bordering on soft porn music video for her song, Hot Hot has irked many netizens in Korea.
Jung Eun Joo debuted as a race girl in 2006 and also released a pictorial book in the same year. Since then, she had stopped all forms of activities for the past 3 years before resuming her entertainment career in June and releasing her first mini-album on 16th July.
But with Nudity being the mini-album title and her trot title song being called Hot Hot, it doesn't help but make one think that she is using sex to sell the mini-album. In addition, the short music video for Hot Hot has raised lots of eyebrows for it's suggestive content and making people feel like they are watching a soft porn video instead.

Wow. Could anything be worse in this video? Terrible song, girl can't sing and in conservative Korea, she's showing off everything. As a girl I think it's incredibly cheap! Looks like the music video production cost about $5. And this chick wants to go mainstream?
What do you guys think? Acceptable video? Is she HAWT?

South Korean Men Think Cleavage is Inappropriate

Soutce: Yahoo!
Almost three-quarters of South Korean male office workers feel uncomfortable when female colleagues show too much leg or cleavage in the workplace, a survey has revealed.
A poll of 1,254 employees by the job portal site CareerNet found that 74 percent of men felt upset with the attire of their female co-workers.
Some 56 percent of them cited micro-miniskirts as their chief complaint, while 51 percent objected to excessive cleavage.
Low-rise trousers that reveal women's underwear, "killer heels" and flashy outfits in general were also cause for complaint.
Women meanwhile complained mostly of stains on the shirts and ties of their male colleagues.
Both sexes disapproved of colourful underwear under a white top, slippers or sandals and sleeveless clothes.
South Koreans in general still dress conservatively in the workplace, with an emphasis on suits and ties among men.
This is a study? In Asia men won't freely admit to such things so the study is pointless and inaccurate.
Here's an example:
Girl walks by...
Korean Man 1: Would you look at the lungs on her!
Korean Man 2: Yeah and that short skirt, I could look at that ass all day.
Surveyor: What do you think of Korean women's work attire?
Korean Man 1: Ohhhhh too much cleavage, I couldn't stand for it.
Korean Man 2: Skirt is too short, very inappropriate!
End of survey.

Divorce rate rises after Calgary Stampede

Source: UPI
Canada's annual Calgary Stampede got under way Friday as divorce consultants prepared for their own surge in unhappy couples after the 10-day event.
Billed as the world's biggest outdoor rodeo event, the Alberta city goes into party mode, which Karen Stewart, founder of Fairway Divorce Solutions, told Sun Media leads to a lot of infidelity.
"It's the sexual undertones, the alcohol, the letting loose," she said. "Thousands of beautiful men and women come out of the woodwork at Stampede and people look incredibly sexy when you put them in a cowboy hat."
She said she sees as much as a 40 percent jump in the number of people filing for divorce in the weeks after the stampede.
Artist Shaun Doiron told the news service there's a saying in the city "it's not cheatin', it's Stampedin'."
"Stampede is like a Las Vegas for a lot of people," he said. "It's not the rodeo anymore, it's a big party."
It's Stampede time again and the city of Calgary here is insane again. Ten days of nothing but drinking and partying. If you're working downtown, you hardly work and just go pig out at every free Stampede breakfast you can find!
You can wear jeans to the office for the whole time, which also can make people look more attractive. Not that anyone is ever in their office during Stampede week, but you have to go in to pick up your tickets to that day's boozy breakfast and lie once again on your voice mail. Not that anyone will call because they will be at the boozy breakfast too.
This study does not surprise me at all. You could have a married couple who have regular mundane lives 355 days in a year. But for 10 days starting with the first Friday in July, they just lose it. They put in a cowboy hat and jeans and hit all the bars in town. PARTY! Then they see hot cowboys and hot cowgirls and ponder why the heck they're married. I like cowboy spirit but it really is the most fake festival anyone can think of.
Everyone all at together now: YEE-HAW!!!!!

Take a free cowboy hat!

AV Stars Not Amused by Chinese Web Fuss

Source: Japan Zone
There has been a furor in the Chinese media about a planned event in the city of Guangzhou featuring some of Japan's top porn actresses. The problem is that the event itself seems to have been a work of pure Web fiction. Several Chinese newspapers published stories about the heated discussions happening on the Web, with citizens protesting the location and timing of the event. It was to take place near a memorial to Chinese who died in the Sino-Japanese War and on the eve of an important anniversary. Others Web posts talked about how the event, to be held at a bar in the center of the city, was reasonably priced compared to similar events in Hong Kong. The newspapers said that protests against the event has reached such a level that it had to be canceled. Hong Kong's Singtao Daily named two of the actresses, which only served to bring more attention to the story. But spokespeople for "AV" actresses Aoi Sora (25, shown above) and Matsushima Kaede (26) said they had never even heard of the event let alone received an invite to China. Aoi said on her blog that she was furious that her name and photo had been abused on the Web. "But it has taught me that there are the same prejudices against adult entertainment overseas (as in Japan)," she said.
You know that something has to be really improper when porn stars are insulted! No matter what sort of business, you can't use people's names without their permission.
