Watch this documentary by Lim Mayling called Women Who Love Women: Conversations in Singapore. It uses interview footage with three Singaporean lesbians, Amanda Lee, Sabrina Renee Chong and Gea Swee Jean to get a rare glimpse into lesbian lives in Singapore. Women Who Love Women was shown recently at the Asian Hot Shots Berlin Film Festival. You can read its blog here.
Very well done documentary. Alot of differing opinions. Overall there is more tolerance. I think you need to know a gay/lesbian person as a friend to really accept the lifestyle. Or else it's difficult to understand.
