I'm not done laughing at the song and it's good to finally see some subtitles (just to compare with the original song)! Did these Asian singers that you show in your posts ever ask the permission to the original singer (in this case Ricky Martin) to "adapt" a given song?
@James: The only difference is that William Hung bothered to sing the song in English. Well, maybe I should say that William Hung would be proud to see that he didn't distort the song's essence.
All of us who are Asian that live outside of Asia lose a bit of ourselves day by day. We try and try to hold on to our culture but bit by bit through events that we can or cannot control we adapt to a new way of life and become a degenerate Asian.
If you have any suggestions about the site or want to send an article or link to a blog please email to: degenerasian@gmail.com
Please send me Asian Ripoffs! I'm always looking for a great/awful Asian Covers :)

Anyway, I wish you a happy New Year
Pretty sure they have permission or else they would be sued and CDs/DVDs would not be allowed to be sold.
However I am sure some might sneak through since artist still don't really know what going on in Asia.
William Hung would be proud.

I don't think the song has much essence to distort!
