racist graffiti spree hits Vancouver strip mall

Source: Vancouver Sun

Richmond RCMP are looking for two white males who went on a twisted, sometimes racist rant with a felt marker at an Asian strip mall.

The two men, who were caught on security cameras, filled two levels of a stairwell with felt marker graffiti, which included threats against police and racial slurs against Asians:

One of the suspects wrote "F--k the Chinese" next to a Swastika, and wrote "KKK" beneath it.

They also wrote "187 a pig" and "187 on an undercover cop" and "F--k the police."

The term "187" is used by some police agencies to refer to a homicide, so the graffiti could be read as a threat against police.

The scrawls have all the earmarks of a tweaking crackhead indulging in a stream-of-consciousness rant.

"I just got out of jail and I'm high," one of them wrote.

The word "jailbird" also appears a few times. A number of individuals are also named in the kind sophomoric trash-talk one finds scrawled on high school bathroom stalls.

If it's on camera why weren't the arrested on the spot? Isn't anyone watching the live video? Aren't cars in the parking lot supposed to be protected? Is the security guard asleep?

And how does this happen in Richmond. Isn't it 90% Chinese? Should these guys be pummeled? Aren't there any eyewitnesses? Where is everyone!?

American Gets Hit by Japanese Train

Source: Colorado Daily

With a belly full of food and sake, Armand Nelson Schneider just wanted to get rid of his nausea and empty his stomach before hopping on a train back to his study-abroad home in Yokohama, Japan.

Schneider, 22, was throwing up over the platform when a high-speed commuter zoomed into the station and smashed into him.

"Here's where the miracle begins," said Schneider's mother, Audrey Nelson.

Moments earlier, a "Japanese angel" had grabbed Schneider's left shoulder and pulled him just enough to the left to spare his head and save him from suffering neurological damage, Nelson said.

Schneider said he doesn't struggle with alcohol and has always been a safe drinker -- his mother calls him "Mr. Responsibility."

"There's no denying I was very drunk," he said. "But I don't think the accident was caused by that."

Still, Schneider said, he plans to share his story and its lessons with teenagers facing tough decisions.

"Sometimes it takes a severe accident to teach someone a lesson," he said.

Ok so he was drunk and but doesn't think it caused the accident. So if he wasn't drunk then he wouldn't be puking all over the platform and would have stood in front of the train. I'm not sure he learn his own lesson that he want to teach 'someone'.

In the video, he couldn't even tell if the person who pulled him back was male or female. He WAS DRUNK!

The Japanese person pulled too hard causing his injuries. They shouldn't pull him next time.

I think Darwin finally failed!

Taco truck a Twitter hit

Source: CNN

A Korean barbecue taco truck has thousands of loyal customers who find it on Twitter. CNN's Ted Rowlands reports

This might the the most idiotic thing I've ever seen. Why are people chasing a truck and standing in line for a TACO! Are you people insane? You can get any type of food in the world in 5 minutes anywhere. I must be a spoiled brat cause I don't wait in line for anything.

And I love the quote from the co-founder

"It doesn't make any sense whatsoever, we make our people wait in line for two hours, we make them wait in the rain, we don't give out chairs to sit on, we don't take reservations, we're late half the time but we must be doing something right".

Bullshit. You're doing nothing right. This is the worst customer service I've ever heard of and you people still flock like sheep to wait for this shit? Idiots.

Using twitter is a great idea. But if you twitter that you'll be at this corner at 10pm then be there. If you're going to be late, twitter that! People have iPhones and Blackberries and can see if you're going to be late. It's not rocket science.

So screw this. How about taking your SO or your friends to a nice restaurant where you will have a nice table and get good service from people who appreciate your presence, instead of making you wait in line for a quick cashgrab.

If I was your gf and you took me to chase a taco truck, I would dump you right on the spot. You can wait in the rain by your own lonesome ugly-ass. I don't care if the tacos are so good they make you instantly orgasm, good customer service should still be appreciated.
