Asians at The Masters - Day 1

The Japanese pimp leads all Asians

Masters Scoreboard

I was watching Chad Campbell make an incredible run at -9 after 16. But once the tv cameras came on and they talked about records and stuff, he bogeyed the last two holes to finish -7. Amazing how that always happens. Still good enough for the lead but he could have ran away with it early.

Here are the Asians in the field with their first round scores.
An Asian-born player has never won The Masters

Shingo Katayama (Japan) (-5) 34-33 = 67
Prayad Marksaeng (Thailand) (-3) 36-33 = 69
Jeev Milkha Singh (India) (-1) 35-36 = 71
Yong-Eun Yang (Korea) (+1) 39-34 = 73
Ryo Ishikawa (Japan) (+1) 39-34 = 73
Ryuji Imada (Japan) (+1) 36-37 = 73
Danny Lee (A) (NZ) (+2) 38-36 = 74
Anthony Kim (USA) (+3) 37-38 = 75
-------PROJECTED CUT LINE--------------
K.J. Choi (Korea) (+4) 38-38 = 76
Wen-Tang Lin (Taiwan) (+5) 37-40 = 77

Cut line is within 10 strokes of the leader so almost everyone still on for the weekend but that can change if someones gets really hot tomorrow.

The tv coverage showed both Danny Lee and Ryo Ishikawa towards the end of the day. They both played well on the back 9 and both are pretty good looking youngsters.
