A divorce trial spiraled into a grisly murder yesterday at a court in Songming, a county on the outskirts of Kunming, Yunnan Province.

According to today's Life News, at about 12:40 pm yesterday, roughly 10 minutes before the trial was to begin, a verbal argument developed among the more than ten family members from both sides who had arrived at court.

Then the estranged husband, Deng Jiaxi, hacked at his wife Yang Changmei, the plaintiff in the lawsuit, using a sickle. Deng then turned his rage upon Yang's cousin Zhang Liping when she tried to stop him. When Yang fought back at Deng and attempted to wrest the sickle from his grasp, she lost two fingers.

All court personnel hid themselves during the violence, and no bailiff or judge interfered to stop Deng from leaving, or attempted to rescue the wounded - they were eventually sent to the hospital by police, who arrived later.

Yang was in critical condition, while her cousin Zhang died from wounds received to her back. Deng was still at large by the time the paper went to print.

Yang's relatives told the newspaper that they are going to sue the court for nonfeasance and will demand three million yuan in damages.

Hahahaha nice one China. Why does China even have police? They don't arrest anyone, they don't get suicide jumped off bridges and they don't break up fights and stabbing in a court room? I want to be a Chinese police officer!

Details of Jinnai's affair exposed

What a doofus!

Source: Tokyograph

Because of an affair by comedian Tomonori Jinnai (35), he and actress Norika Fujiwara (37) are now divorced. Jinnai admitted the truth on March 26, and the following day, weekly magazine FRIDAY published an article exposing photos and emails related to a woman Jinnai had slept with.

According to the magazine, Jinnai met the woman in an Osaka bar in July 2007, three months after Jinnai and Fujiwara's marriage. After hitting it off, Jinnai immediately emailed the woman's cell phone, asking her to join him in a hotel room. The woman asked, "Aren't you married?" but Jinnai replied, "Don't worry about it!"

The woman continued to receive emails from Jinnai, and the contents were always a room number and nothing else. The relationship with this woman went on for five months. As evidence of the affair, FRIDAY magazine published some of the emails and photos showing Jinnai lying in the hotel bed.

Although Jinnai has admitted and apologized for his immaturity and weakness, sources say that he had affairs with multiple women. More details of his affairs may come to light in the future.

Just three months after the wedding. Looks like he never stopped seeing women at any point! Creep!

Guess marrying a famous model wasn't enough for him!

Just two years ago they were billed as one of the "super couples" of Japanese showbiz, but it looks like Fujiwara Norika (37) and Jinnai Tomonori (35) have come to the end of the road. According to the Sports Hochi website, the couple have both stamped their seals on divorce papers and it's just a matter of days before they make the decision legal. Fujiwara is currently visiting Kenya in her role as a Red Cross ambassador. Their relationship is said to have taken a turn for the worse last autumn. Up until that time Jinnai had been commuting several times a week between their home in Tokyo and a TV studio in Osaka for the live morning show "Narutomo!" It was speculated that he quit the show in September so he could spend more time with his wife. But Jinnai is said to have been the one to obtain the divorce papers. Fujiwara made up her mind to add her seal when a stage production came to a close at the end of last month. From the start there were those who said theirs was a mismatched marriage, referred to in Japanese as "kakusakon." A former Miss Japan, Fujiwara is a successful actress and one of the business's biggest earners with a string of commercial contracts, regular TV and stage roles, and also active in charitable causes. Jinnai has established himself as a TV regular over the last few years but is still mainly seen as a "pin-geinin" or solo comedian.
